Sharing Supportive Solutions... Empowering Resilient Change

Inspirations...

Shara is inspired by the field of integrative and positive psychology, mindfulness and contemporary, innovative brain science that supports the neuroplasticity of the brain and our capacity to learn, develop and practice resilient habits and skills across our entire life path.  A key, consistent theme within Shara’s life, travels and work also celebrates the power of the natural world to promote and sustain therapeutic and emotional wellbeing.

Shara seeks to empower individuals to consider creative solutions to life transitions, facilitating the discovery of new meaning and the pathway to positive change. She is passionate about helping individuals to flourish and reach their potential, sharing simple, evidence based resources with an accessible, authentic and practical teaching style.

Shara's integrative vision of wellbeing and resilience has been influenced by her experience and education within many countries and cultures including Switzerland, France, the UK and New Zealand. She holds a first class honours degree and Doctorate within her studies of psychology and was awarded the Social Science Faculty prize for academic excellence during her first degree. Shara was first impressioned by the therapeutic benefits of mindfulness during her doctoral ventures and studies. This experience catalysed her early interest in mindfulness which over the years, has steadily evolved to inspire her life and pursuits.

Shara has created a book (in press) to help convey the essence of mindfulness with a practical and creative orientation for the younger reader. Alongside this, her most recent title in process, has been developed to share evidence based resilience and science backed wellbeing skills with adults.

Current book titles include the following:

   Stand Tall Like a Mountain

This book was designed to help nurture positive self-worth and confidence, offering a range of creative solutions to resolve everyday obstacles. With a toolbox of emotional resources and life skills, the story line presents themes with direct scope for further teaching and guidance by adults, teachers and those working within a range of therapeutic settings.

   Bouncing Bouncing Back

A picture book with a message of courage and determination, to help inspire resilience, hope and  inner strength in the face of life's challenges and disappointments.  As we bounce back from unexpected setbacks, the challenge can gradually enable us to find new meaning and purpose with a bright and bold key to our life goals and projects.
